Home Improvements of Arizona is a cabinet refacing contractor based in Phoenix Arizona.  It is operated by Nathan Kein who has been working in the cabinet refacing industry with our partner Home Improvements of Colorado, for many years.

Here’s a little about Nathan from a recent interview with the 24-7 home show.

Cabinetry and Remodeling have always been in my blood. I learned from my father while tagging along on his jobs. Once I graduated from Millennium High School (Litchfield Park, AZ) in 2001 I immediately went to work for him at Paradise Kitchens. I installed cabinets in new and restored homes for 5 years at which time I was offered a full-time position as Worship Director and Youth Minister at my local church. During that time I held an active Arizona Real Estate license and was blessed to sell just over $5 million in real estate transactions. I still loved working with my father at Paradise Kitchens so I continued to help out where and when I could.

The first six years out of high school were exciting and full of wonderful moments! The most memorable was the birth of my son, Josiah, in November of 2005. He brought great joy and fulfillment to my home and to my life.

In the spring of 2007, I knew a change was needed. With careful thought and consideration, I decided that it was time to get back to what I love and what I do best: construction. My family and I started looking at different places we wanted to live. I grew up in Canada and decided I wanted to move somewhere that reminded me of “home”. Hello, Colorado!

I interviewed with Timberline Kitchens and Bath and it turned out to be a great fit for both of us. We partnered for over five years and I learned so much more about the complete remodel process for the interior and exterior of homes. This new knowledge, coupled with my cabinetry experience, gave me the solid foundation I needed to start my own company. Legacy Builders was created not only to give me and my family a good income, but to share my knowledge with my children and leave them a legacy of workmanship, work ethic, and work… (a job).

The past decade has given me and my family a lot of trials, but also many victories. My daughter, Faith, was born in June of 2008 and I married my beautiful wife, Michelle, in June of 2015. We moved back to Arizona in June of 2017 to be closer to family and friends and to expand our family company.

Thank you for the opportunity to share a bit about me, my family, and our business. We look forward to working with you and your family! -The Kleins: Nathan, Michelle, Josiah, and Faith
