Do you have a showroom?

We do not have a showroom as this can add hundreds if not thousands of dollars to the cost of your project. When you schedule a free in home estimate, we bring many sample doors along with a wide selection of stain and paint colors. Doing this will allow you the opportunity to see and feel the materials and finish and how everything will look in your kitchen with your counter tops, backsplash, and flooring. Can you add new cabinets boxes to my cabinet refacing project?

We can add a new pantry, maybe some taller upper cabinets an Island or maybe fill in that unused desk area. There are many instances where we can add new cabinets along with a refacing project.

What options do you offer?

Let us know what options you may have an interest in doing. Chances are pretty good that we can do it. We offer soft-close drawers, soft close doors, roll-out shelves, various finish options including glazing, and various moldings like crown and light molding. In general, cabinet refacing options are very much like what you would expect from new cabinet manufacturers.

Are your wood doors solid wood?

Our raised panel doors are solid wood. Our flat panel doors are a 1/4 inch thick, double sided, real wood veneer. If you are looking for a shaker door, they are available with both solid wood center panels or 1/4 thick real wood veneer panels. Painted doors with raised panels are available with paint grade maple center panels or MDF (medium density fiberboard) center panels. The advantage to MDF center panels is that expansion and contraction are less than paint grade maple. We would be happy to go over the differences with you.

Which wood grades are available?

Select, natural, rustic, and paint grade are the most popular wood grades available. Although there are some exceptions, the paint grade is generally the least expensive, followed by rustic, natural, and then the select grade being the most expensive. The finish can affect the pricing of each grade of wood.

Do you offer other doors besides wood?

We offer Thermo-foil doors, acrylic doors, exotic veneer doors. If you are looking for something specific, let us know.

Do you provide free estimates and consultations?

Are custom stains and paint colors available?

Custom stain and paint colors are available. There is a charge for this that varies with the difficulty in matching a particular stain or paint color. It may require a different process to achieve a special look. We would be happy to discuss this with you.

Do you offer painted doors?

We offer painted doors in practically any solid color you want. Glazing is also available along with distressed finishes.

Can we mix stained doors with painted doors?

Some customers may want stained doors for most of their kitchen and want painted doors for their island. We can do whatever you want. You can also mix and match the trim.

How long does it take to install a refacing project?

Installations can vary depending on the actual size of the kitchen. Ninty percent of the kitchens we do fall in the 3 to 5 day installation range.

Do I need to empty my cabinets?

We recommend you empty the cabinets. A lot of customers look at it as an opportunity to get rid of some useless items they may have had for years and also a chance to reorganize their kitchen. It is possible to do the job just emptying the drawers, but it is very difficult to keep dust of off items in the cabinets. We will be happy to discuss this with you.

Do you offer a wide variety of door styles?

We offer a very large selection of door and drawer front styles. We have even gone to showrooms that customers have visited to see a particular style they have liked close up. We can usually match or get very close to most styles out there.
